User testing for accessibility
- [Instructor] It's important to conduct user testing with users who utilize a wide variety of assistive technologies and devices. To set up an inclusive and accessible user testing session, coordinate with people in advance to provide any necessary support. Ask what assistive technologies and devices each tester uses, and create a positive and welcoming on-site experience. For on-site user testing, remember to make sure the physical space is accessible. Also, decide how to communicate verbally, through sign language, or text, or other means to accommodate each tester. With remote user testing, make sure the video call service, or collaboration tool is accessible and properly supported. Decide ahead of time if you'll communicate with text, audio, video, or some combination to make sure all testers can participate.
