- [Instructor] In a perfect world, all the data we ever needed would already be located in one place and availible for us to start reporting, but in reality datasets exist everywhere and oftentimes we spend time consolidating them together so that we can report from them. Let's look at a couple of ways to bring data into Access through linking and importing. Okay, so we have two files that we need to incorporate into our database. One is the list of the managers and departments. You might remember it when you see it, wee worked with it earlier with a VLOOKUP. We also have some videos that are required for the managers to watch and those are actually maintained in a different database. So, we're going to do two scenarios, an import and a link.
