Creating a head aim control
- [George] Hi, I'm George Maestri, when you're animating a character's head there are times when he will need to aim at a specific object. So for example if he's watching maybe a tennis match or a horse race you want the head to follow, specific objects. And for doing that we can create what's called an aim control. Now you're probably familiar with aim controls from working with the eyes. So if I were to select this object here which is called control eyes aim, and just move it around you could see how the eyes always follow that object. Well, we want to do the same thing for the head. So I've already created this object in our scene called control head aim and we want to aim the head at that. Now an easy way to do it is to simply use an aim constraints. So I have this control here for my head, and if I want I could just aim that at the control and be done with it.
