Possession of a dangerous weapon

A 40-year-old man was arrested Wednesday for allegedly concealing a large machete in his sleeve.

Police say a business in the 800 block of Lorne Avenue reported that a man was seen injecting drugs and concealing a large machete in his sleeve.

Officers also allegedly found the man to have a small amount of methamphetamine.

He is due to appear in court on Aug. 24.

Domestic assault

A 46-year-old man was arrested Wednesday after allegedly assaulting a 43-year-old woman while on an order to not have contact with her. He is due to appear in court on June 20.

Theft under $5,000

A 37-year-old woman was arrested Wednesday after allegedly fleeing with stolen cosmetics worth more than $150.

Around 9:25 p.m., a business in the 1500 block of 18th Street called police to report that a woman had just stolen a bunch of cosmetics and fled in a taxicab.

Police conducted a traffic stop with the taxicab and allegedly found the woman in possession of $157 worth of stolen cosmetics.

She is due to appear in court on July 29.
