Though still blocked form travel word has been sent to the capital city. Luna, finally out of her breeding time is able to once again stand with Killen.

After having sent word to the royal family Killen bided his time. for a while activity seemed to die down. but he knew Luna was getting frustrated being told to keep out of the fields. He stood on the porch as the morning sun broke the horizon. She had been on his property for 2 months now. As winter threatened to begin she had tried to insist on assisting him and his hands on the fields. He had been forced to rely on Mina's assistance in keeping Luna from running off in to the fields to work.
Mina had taken Luna's assistance and put her to work in her own garden where she grew herbs for cooking. "This is Chamomile." she told Luna as she knelt down, "It took me a while but I finally was able to get some to plant here for us."
"What is Chamomile?"
"It is good for teas, mostly used to sooth one before bed, or for the common cold. as winter is approaching it is good to have it around." She dusted her knees off and she stood, she spoke of a few other herbs until she looked out over the fields. "I know you would rather be out there."
"Herbs are boring." Luna said standing as well.
Mina smiled, "Sorry to bore you then."
Luna looked over at Mina. Neither Mina not Eyolf had spoken of Mina's pregnancy she wondered if they would address it at any point.
"Well time to get breakfast going. I'm sure Kill has already worked himself up an appetite."
Luna moved toward the home she now shared with Killen. He was standing on the porch a cup of coffee in his hand. "Any word?" she asked as she approached him. She paused looking up at him. Just taking a moment to appreciate his hard body, his red fur. her hand moved through her long white hair. she loved the contrast of their colors when he held her. Her thighs pressed together tightly a moment as she tried to suppress her need for him.
"None as of yet but during the festival last week there seems to have a been a problem. so they are attempting to handle that first."
"A problem?" Even three steps away from him she felt the raw power of his Alpha. Her body began to hum she was finally done with the last days of her breeding cycle. She was more than glad to be close to him once again. after the one incident where Killen had nearly lost his control he had decided that they would have to remain apart. Her hand touched the rough wooden railing that lead to him. his blue eyes transfixed on her as she stood before him. She was curious as to what he was thinking. Surely he was able to smell her need for him. any slight move of her legs she could smell her own need for him.
His nose flared, "Yes, their princess has apparently run away with a Minotaur. as our lands are in the path the two were seen headed, we were put on alert to keep an eye out for them."
"The princess and a Minotaur?"
"They are unsure at this time if she willingly was taken away or if he kidnapped her in order to use her as leverage."
"Why would a wolven princess allow a Minotaur to take her away? surely as princess she would beable to use magic as her father. She could not be that useless."
HIs eyebrow rose, "Strange things have been happening in the last century." he reminded her, "there are humans who take beast lovers and have their offspring. there are beasts who are taking beasts not their own kind as lovers. who is to say? If it was done willingly then only they know. if not then she is either already dead or being tortured by her captor."
Luna watched him closely he showed no hint of concern either way. "Killen… Do you not care for the politics of the capital?"
"No, I do not. I was once a high guard but left as the capital became more corrupted; despite good intentions. that is why what happens in my lands stays among my pack." his hand reached out to her, "Come, I am hungry. I am sure Mina and the servants had made a meal for us."
After breakfast Luna sat cross legged on the couch in the main room of Killen's mansion. "Killen?"
"Hmm?" he was studying a stack of pages in his hand standing across the room.
"If you knew where they where would you report it?"
"where who are?"
"The princess and the Minotaur."
"No, unless the princess is in danger I care not what they do." Her hand rubbed along the scaring on her leg. she sat quiet for a while as he shifted through the pages in his hands. "All of the pack leaders have agreed to pick up arms against the humans if need be." he finally said. "I will need to put in place our own practices. I do not like waiting for those of the capital to make a decision."
"I want to work the fields." she said pulling him from his thoughts.
"Luna, we have spoken of this."
"I know but… I'm bored and lonely without you. and Mina… she only speaks of things I do not understand."
"Mina was a doctor before she was found on our lands. You would do well to learn much from her. Ten years ago she was running from humans because they found her to be sympathetic to beast kind. she stumbled upon our lands it was Eyolf that found her. She was made a servant. after a time she began to pursue him."
"She made the first move?"
Killen nodded, "She came to myself directly and asked my permission to be with him. I of course denied her request. but you should have come to know her well by now. Mina is very determined in that in which she desires. she moved herself to the most trusted of my servants and ensured my home was run the way I expected at all times. eventfully I did cave and allow her to be with him."
Luna's hand moved along her leg more as she thought about how Mina pushed for what she wanted. "I want to work the fields at your side." she said again.
Killen set the pages in his hand down on the coffee table, "Luna we have spoken on this multiple times."
"I'm not carrying your cubs, I know how to watch for traps. you are in the fields everyday with your servants. why can I not be?"
He sighed heavy, "because you are precious to me, what would you have me do should something happen to you. you have already been close to death once in our time together."
"We were not even mated yet." she said as she stood, "Killen I wish to do as I desire at times. I am not asking to run off in to the woods and explore your lands. I am not asking to visit the neighboring areas. I am asking that you see reason and let me work the fields at your side. My parents did so I wish to do so as well only with my lover."
Killen looked down at her, "Only of you are at my or Eyolf's side understood?"
She nodded, "Thank you. I know I am young and you think to protect me but I am not a cub." her put her hand to the side of his muzzle.
His hand touched hers along his face. The blue irises of his eyes began to glow it had been a whole moon since he had claimed her in his bed. "You are no longer breeding."
She shook her head, "No I am not."
He hoisted her up and moved them to their room. She squealed as he tossed her in to his bed and began to remove his clothing. "I wish I could do as our ancestors and take you running along the woods." his face nuzzled her neck near her shoulder. "Take you in to the wilds of our lands and ravage you under the full moon."
"You had your chance." she said. "The night we met I was helpless you could have done so."
he chuckled his hand moving along her soft fur. "Would you have submitted to me had I done so? would you have become a part of my pack and done as you are told?"
she smiled up at him, "No. I would fight you more than I do now. I would have likely run away the first chance I had and been killed by hunters."
He moved between her legs nudging her, "Then it is good that I gave you time to submit to me."
she laughed her hands looping around his neck, "I have yet to submit to you. though I recognize you as Alpha I do not submit." she cried out as he thrust in to her.
"You will one day." he moaned as she stretched around him. his eyes caught hers. he grinned as his hips thrust against her sending her head lolling back. "Your body already knows that your are mine." he whispered as his tongue moved over her ear. her hold around his neck pulled him hard against her chest. "I dream of the day you submit your mind and will to me." his teeth grazed her ear.
Luna moaned, "Just as I dream of you submitting to me."
Killen chuckled, "I have already done such, Luna." his nose moved along her as he inhaled her sweet scent, "I have already offered you everything I hold within myself."
Luna's eyes rolled back as Killen's member drove deep in to her innards. The long thick appendage streaching her even more with each passing thrust. Her legs locked around him as she began to thrust her hips upward in to him. meeting him each time.
He felt his knot building as he drove himself in to her bringing her wave after wave of pleasure. he began to grunt with effort as his knot swelled and began to push in to her body.
"Killen…" she cried out, "Its… its to big…." her legs shifted around him giving him more room to push in to her, "Stop…." she howled in pleasure as his knot forced itself deep in to her tunnel. her eyes rolled back her mouth open in a scream that refused to erupt from her throat. Their eyes met as he began to fill her moist tunnel. a gutteral growl bubbled from her chest as her eyes widdened. "Killen."
He nipped her throat with his teeth as he stopped moving. they lay locked together both breathing heavy. Luna looked up in to Killen's blue eyes, her lips pulled back in a sated smiled. Locked in theire embrace this was how they spent the rest of the day. By the time night fell Luna was weak from her orgasms. Killen lay drapped over her snoring softly.
Eyolf stretched as he woke. The soft sound of Mina still sleeping beside him tempted him to hold her and go back to dreaming. He rolled over on his side looking at the woman he had chosen to be his mate. "Mina." he whispered.
Sleepily she opened her eyes. her pink lips smiled as she looked at his face. "Morning." she whispered her voice thick with sleep. Her hand moved toward him petting the soft fur of his muzzle. She loved his black fur the way it contrasted her skin, the softness of it.
his tounge moved from his mouth and licked along her soft skin. Not only had her scent changed since becoming pregnant with his child but the taste of her skin had become sweeter as well. Though she was not showing yet he knew Killen had picked up on her hormone changes. He pulled his tongue back in to his mouth and moved to get out of the bed. Mina sat up and watched as he reached for his clothing. from behind him her body moved. She pressed her naked breasts agasint his back her small hands moving around him as she rested her chin on his shoulder, "Must you get up?"
He chuckled, "It is dawn Mina, of course I have to get up."
"Stay in bed with me today." she cooed her lips nibbled along his pointed ear. gently her teeth clenched around the point and tugged. "make love to me all day in this bed."
Eyolf turned toward her, "You are insationable for my touches."
She nodded as she laid her body on the mattress, her arms stretched to her sides, "You know I crave your touches."
Eyolf smiled and knelt on the bed over her. his long tongue moving along her skin. he began at her breasts and moved downward until the sweet musk of her sex pulled all of his attention.
She moaned as his tongue moved along her slit. after a few teasing touches he began to dive deeper in to her. her back arched as his tongue moved inside of her pulling her juices in to his mouth. He loved the way her body tasted. and now that she was pregnant with his cub his only instinct was to protect and worship her. he moved his tongue from inside of her to her clit and back. within moments she was clutching the sheets, her toes curled as her hips lifted from the bed and she cried out in rapture. He desired to do as she wished and lay in bed with her all day but there was still much to do as winter approached. It took great effort to pull his long muzzle from her snatch.
She looked up at him as he moved over her. "Gentle please…" she whimpered as his thick groin touched her tan vaginal lips.
"You are my mate." he whispered down to her, "I cannot be to gentle." he smiled as he pressed in to her. again her hips lifted from the bed giving all of herself to his arousal. He stopped as he hit her cervix. "Mina… you have grown tighter." He groaned.
"I think you are larger." she countered as her head rolled back digging in to the pillows.
Eyolf began to move inside of her pulling breathy whimpers and moans from her. As she cried out again and again from his love making he felt his knot began to beat against her. He tried to keep his beast in check. to not surcumb to the temptation to force his knot in to her body. when her hands grasped his shoulders as he pounded in to her he had to slow himself.
"Eyolf… care… careful…"
Her head was still rolled back so hard he could hardly see her face. her neck open to him. he growled as his front teeth nipped at her soft flesh. "Mina…" He tossed his own head back as his balls began to pulse. A howl erupting from his throat. as his loins stopped tingling he collapsed on top of her. "Mina." he whispered. his hand moved to the side of her face as she gasped under him.
Her eyes turned to him as she smiled, "I love you Eyolf."
He smiled. "I love you as well." Finally he was able to will himself out of bed. After a quick shower he dressed and headed to the farm. "What are you doing?" He frowned down at the white wolf that knelt on her hands and knees.
Luna looked up, "Gophers." she said as she moved her hand in to a hole under the animal pen. She rooted around a moment then pulled her hand out holding up a fat female gopher. "They have been getting in to the carrots and cabbages."
"I meant what are you doing in the fields. after the other day you are not be out here."
"What do you and Killen wish for me to do. You both tell me to spend time with the human servants yet tell me not to come to the fields. One of the men asked for Killen who has already left to speak to the human that runs the next town over. He is trying to let us pass to get things to the royal city. As his mate is it my position to assist when he is busy."
Eyolf growled, "it is not your position Luna. it is the beta's position to do such. you are not the beta here. you are our Alpha's mate."
"When the Alpha is unavailable it is to his mate who…"
Eyolf grasped her arm and pulled her from the field. she dropped the gopher from her hand, "Get this straight, you are a cub! the Alpha's job is to run our lands. his Beta is his second it is the Beta's duty to run the lands when the Alpha is busy. as his mate is it up to you to see that his home is taken care of, his men loyal, and his cubs safe!" he pulled her toward his own home.
Luna stumbled a few steps, "An Alpha's mate…"
"Is not a leader!" Eyolf shouted. "If Killen did not give you so much leeway you'd know this already."
"But my mother…"
"If your mother was your father's Beta then that was the way they ran their land it is not how our lands are run!"
Mina jogged toward Eyolf and Luna, "what is going on here?" she asked as she neared Luna's side.
"Maybe instead of teaching her herbs you should be teaching her a mate's place." he snapped at his own mate.
Mina took a deep breath, "Eyolf, calm down. Luna is still used to the way things are done in her past home. Just give her time."
Eyolf's teeth ground. "You are not to step foot in the fields again. if the servants seek you out send them to me!" he turned on his heel and moved toward the field.
Luna glared as he walked away. she looked down seeing a fallen tomato from a cart she picked it up and threw it at Eyolf. Mina gasped at her side. "Luna."
Eyolf stopped when the tomato hit his back. he turned growling. As he stomped toward the two women Mina stepped back. "Eyolf, calm down."
His eyes never left Luna, "Come with me." he grasped her arm tightly and pulled her toward the barn. as he rounded the corner he shoved her inside, "Out!" he yelled to the servants who where inside. Immediately they all jumped and moved outside quickly. Eyolf glared down at Luna, "Get this straight in your mind, cub. Killen has been the Alpha of our pack for over 200 years. He led many of our kind in to the war against the humans before taking our pack. It is he I hold loyalty to. do not think just because you are his mate that I will tolerate your insolence."
"Insolence!" Luna's hackles stood on end as she puffed out her chest, "I am doing as a proper mate should!"
"Then you should be carrying cubs not working fields!" he grasped her arm again and span her around holding her tight he walked her to the back of the barn,. he shoved her in to one of the stalls and slammed the metal gate locking her inside. "I will be sure Mina brings you food and water but as you will not do as our Alpha requests and you will not follow my word as his second you will remain here as though a child!" he secured the lock on the gate and marched off ignoring her screams for him to release her.
He moved toward the fields Mina ran up to him, "What!"
Mina took a step back from him, "Eyolf, she doesn't know our ways. have more patience with her."
"Go back to our home Mina."
"Eyolf…"
"Go!" he shouted.
Mina shook her head as she turned to walk back to their home.
As dusk fell Mina took a tray of food and drink to the barn she stopped at the gate where Luna was locked. the white wolf paced like a wild animal in a cage. "His is only trying to protect you in Killen's stead." she said.
Luna scoffed, "Some protection this is." She said as she stopped pacing.
Mina sighed, "it was 10 years ago that Killen did something similar to me." she said as she set the tray on the ground and slid it under the gate bars. "I insisted on being with Eyolf. I begged and pleaded for Killen to allow us to become mates but Killen refused. at the time I did not understand he refused for both our sakes." She sat down and leaned on the gate bars, "It took me a few days of pacing just as you are to realize that if Killen ok'ed Eyolf and I then it meant not only I was a traitor to my kind but Eyolf would be looked down upon by wolven kind as well. Humans seek to use those who side with beast kind. They pay handsomly for them to betray the beasts that are kind enough to take them in. If they refuse then many are tortured and forced to turn on those that took them in. I have seen it happen many times since then. Lovers of beast kind tortured, some have returned and betrayed our pack. others never retruned. Some of those that live on our lands have even buried what was left of their lover. Humans are cruel in that regard."
"I know all this."
"I didn't." she said.
Luna turned to Mina. she moved to the gate and sat down as well. "You did not?"
Mina shook her head. "I was a doctor in my town a bit south of here. Like you I was given a wolven name and my tie to my past was broken however I know you realize broken ties are never forgotten. Last I knew my parents were still alive and well. My father owned the clinic I worked in. I was closing up for the night when a bovine came in. she was in labor and her calf was turned. she had nowhere else to go and risked herself to come to my office. I of course offered my assistance. Once she had safely delivered her calf I left her in my office over night. when I returned early the next day she thanked me so many times for helping her and her child. It warmed my heart to see someone so grateful. I sent her on her way before the town woke. I knew beast and humans didn't get along but I never realized how bad it was. later that afternoon the police showed up at my father's clinic and tried to arrest me for assisting beast kind. I escaped through the back and ran. no provisions, nothing more than the clothes on my back and the few medication samples in my pocket I had been about to give a patient. Eyolf found me on these lands almost a week later. I was near the creak drinking when he came across me." she smiled. "The first time I laid eyes on him I knew I loved him." She stood, "I was naïve to a lot of things back then. Killen should return before dawn."
"I’m really just gonna be left out here all night?"
"I don't have the key and Eyolf is our Beta I can't go against his choices. I’m sorry but Luna you questioned our Alpha by refusing to do as Eyolf said."
"I am the Alpha's mate, it is to the mate to help guide our people."
Mina smiled, "Once you have proven you can make those choices. but Luna you are still so young. Right now you are learning our ways." Mina's hand rested on Luna's on the cold metal bars, "I'll have a servant bring you some blankets."
Luna continued to pace in the stall. the farm animals around her all nosily ate their dinner meals and began to go to sleep. eventually once a servant brought in a few blankets for her she sat herself down in the far corner and leaned against the wall. she wrapped her self in some of the blankets and closed her eyes. Had she really questioned Killan's authority? She had been trying to do as her duty as his mate and assist his servants when they came to her with a problem. Eyolf had not been in the frields yet so she had tried to step up as she had thought her mother would have done. her eyes opened as she looked up at the dark rafters. trying to tell herself she was not a cub. that she had been right in what she had done.
Killen closed his truck door and headed toward his home. it was about the mid of night so he tried to remain quiet to not wake Luna as he headed toward his bedroom.
"Killen." Eyolf's voice called out.
Killen turned to his Beta, "What are you still doing in my home? should you not be with your mate?"
"Your mate is in the barn we need to talk."
Killen nodded, "alright."
Eyolf's eyes watched his Alpha, "It is not my place to question you but as your friend I want to know why you give Luna so much leeway in her duties."
"I do not give her all that much." he answered his oldest friend. "Luna is made to assist your mate though she does not like to do such."
"Today she was found in the fields."
Killen frowned, "She knows she is not to be in the fields with out me, what reason would she be out there?"
"She claims a servant came to her and asked her advice. I found her digging in a gopher den."
"Why would a servant go to her if you are available."
"I had not gotten to the field yet."
"Then she did her duty as my mate and tried to assist our servants."
"Killen! I am not a baby sitter for your mate. She does not listen and questions your authority."
"What would you have me do Eyolf? As my second you are to be out in the fields in my stead. had you been Luna would not have been out there. The servants know to go to you but as you said you where not; they went to the next in charge, my mate. They all know she knows the land well. It was she that was able to teach us some new ways of handling the insect problem that began last week when the winds blew in early." He turned to head toward the barn but Eyolf stopped him.
"She is your mate, her duty is to be home and attend your cubs. the fact you have not bred her though her time has ended makes me wonder."
Killen looked at his Beta, "Just as I wonder about your cubs that should not exist."
Eyolf flinched inwardly but kept his face passive. "What Mina and I do is our own business."
"Just as what Luna and I do is ours. she is too young to carry cubs and understand how to be the mother of an Alpha's heir. however I am well aware both you and Mina know the fate you have set for yourselves." he turned and left Eyolf standing in the hallway and headed to the barn. he moved down the row of stalls and stopped at Luna's scent. she leaned against the stall back wall in a blanket. from his pocket he pulled a key and unlocked the door. "Luna." he called out.
She turned her head toward him, "I did not mean to question your authority." she said as she moved the blanket from her body. "I was doing as I thought right as your mate."
Killen nodded, "Come. we will discuss this in our home. Eyolf had no reason to lock you in here as he did." He opened the gate and waited for his mate to approach him.
"Killen…"
"Luna we have spoken about you being in the fields. Had it been as long ago it would not be a problem however as you are young you must understand that your protection and well being are of highest importance to me. Next time go to Eyolf directly to report what servants ask your assistance in. Had he been in the fields as his duty this would not have been a problem."
"I do not wish for your servants to see it as though I mean to undermine you nor him. I am young but I know that can be cause for others in the pack to attempt to take your status. But you and Eyolf both tell me to spend more time with the humans on this land. I was only doing as I thought was needed of me."
Killen's hand moved to her cheek, "As your mate I appreciate that. I know that your mother was your father's beta and I understand that it is conflicting with our laws here. I ask you be more mindful of your safety and Eyolf's position in the pack. he is my oldest friend but his loyalty to our pack and myself are the reason he is my second. You know by now I do not give out position just because I favor someone."
She looked up at her mate. "Killen…" She closed her green eyes and pressed her face hard in to his palm. "Are all women good for is raising cubs?"
Killen shook his head. his black nose touched her pink nose, "No mate. Women are a high treasure on my lands. you take a man's seed in to your body and transform it in to life. then once you give birth you take that life and shape it." his lips touched her gently. "For our lands there is no greater good than that. even the gods pale in comparison to what a woman's body can do to protect and nurture her offspring. My laws to protect women on our lands are because I have seen too many women taken and tortured, killed for being able to produce life. Like you not all women in our lands understood my reasoning first but after seeing first-hand what humans are capable of against our kind I refuse to allow more killings, more heart ache to run along our land. Women are goddesses in my mind. to have humans destroy those that should be worshiped is a crime that even death cannot atone for."
"If you hold that so high then why do you not wish for your own cubs?" her green eyes opened looking up at him."
"Because I treasure you Luna. you are my mate, I am our land's Alpha. Should humans attack you will be among the first taken and tortured. they will not kill you to prove a point as they would other women. they will torture you, attempt to either snap your mind and train you as a pet for their cause or make you resent me and I cannot allow that to happen to you." His arms moved around her and pulled her to his body. "You have within you to be Alpha once you learn the ways. because of that you are far to valuable as not only my lover but as a pack member to allow to be harmed." as he held her the need to touch her soft fur caused him to pull away. his hands moved to her clothing pulling at the articles of cloth. "Had we met before the humans came to our lands I'd have dressed you in the finest silks and robes. In my mind you are greater than even the princesses of our kind." as the buttons of her shirt where undone he moved the cloth from her shoulders. Her large perky breasts presented to his view. He pushed her back in to the stall and moved her to the hay. She let him guide her to the ground, moaning once she was laid down and his mouth moved to her. She squirmed beneath his heavy body as he took his time worshiping her. His long tongue moving along the white fur of her mountain globes. Her hands moved to his head after a time and pulled his muzzle to hers. as she kissed him she began to fight the buttons of his shirt once open she let her hands roam inside the article until her finger tips where able to dig in to the fur on his back. Killen smiled down at her, "Do you wish for our rutting to be here in this stall tonight?"
She smiled and nodded. She had fantasized about making love to her mate in nature. she loved the scent of the hay she now lay on. she loved the scent of trees around them. when his hands moved to his own jeans she followed suit and began to remove her jeans as well. "I still wait for the day you take me among the stars."
"For now this barn will have to suffice. I do not think I have it in me to wait any longer to be planted in your depths."
Once both where bare of clothing her hands returned to his thick fur. She gasped as he forced himself in to her. he was so much larger than her yet it felt as though her body accepted him with minimal trouble. Her fingers dug deeper as he began to move within her. She knew her choice to give up her life before him, to deny her life that was set before her from the time she was born, had been the right thing to do. As he hammered away at her insides the toes of her paws curled with the pleasure he brought her. Her tongue loled out of her mouth as her head fell back. her legs moved her hips upward meeting his thrusts as he grunted with each stroke of his hips.
"Kill… Killen…" her voice howled as she squeezed her vaginal muscles around him.
Killen growled as her walls squeezed him. His large frame over her blocking what little light the windows of the barn provided. The blue glow of his Alpha power the only thing that left him seeing her face as she continued to cry out beneath him. He thrust his hips hard in to her, the beautiful creature that squirmed and wriggled under him. Her white hair tangled with hay. the scent of his own fur mixing with hers. His tounge licked along her muzzle. Each time he made love to this whimpering wolf under him he grew more obsessed with her. In time he knew he would breed her, she would grow large and round with his cubs. Her green eyes began to glow as she howled in orgasm. She was still to unlearned in his ways but the Alpha with in her grew stronger every day.
